ALLIANCE NEWS December 14, 2011 Creating Community with Social Media: An Artist Workshop followed by a reception for artists and the boards of directors for QCC and SOMArts. This workshop focused on using Facebook to help promote your art, to develop your audience and to be actively engaged in a shared artistic community. Instructors: Jess Young, Director of Communications & Community Engagement for SOMArts and Rudy Lemcke, Director of Communications for Queer Cultural Center. 41 Alliance members attended this free event sponsored by CA LGBT Arts Alliance, Queer Cultural Center and SOMArts Cultural Center. |
